What a stellar looking day out there today! The official high in Reno was 90 after the morning low of 60. The highest wind gust was 22mph out of the west. No rain in the gauge.
Tonight will be clear with the low at 59. Expect the wind to taper off over the next couple of hours, especially after sunset.
Pretty tranquil high desert weather is in store for the next 7 days. However, it will be breezy the next 3 days in the afternoon hours with gusts between about 30 and 35mph. These breezes will persist through the evening hours each day.
High temperatures will be in the mid 90's this holiday weekend, but then cool back into the 80's Monday through Friday.
Have a great evening and enjoy the holiday,
