Lawsuit claims casino employees sexually harassed for years

Updated:

Kitchen workers at Caesars Palace hotel-casino claim they were sexually harassed by supervisors for years and the property's management retaliated against them after they complained about the abuses.

That's according to a lawsuit filed by the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The suit against the megaresort's parent company, Caesars Entertainment, was filed in US District Court in Las Vegas.

A spokesman for Caesars Entertainment says he can not comment on the lawsuit since he had not seen it.

The EEOC alleges that since 2000, six kitchen employees were subject to sexual harassment at the Strip hotel-casino.

The suit details instances of fondling, oral sex demands and offers of favorable treatment in exchange for sex.

According to the lawsuit, when employees complained about the harassment, they were docked pay, demoted, disciplined and fired.
