A man law enforcement says is wanted for alleged crimes in two states and that has appeared on a nationally syndicated television crime show was arrested in a rural Western Nevada town.
Seth Thomas Griffith, 33, out of Norristown, Pennsylvania was stopped by Mineral County Sheriff's officer Wednesday afternoon in Hawthorne for making erratic driving movements while traveling northbound on US Highway 95, according to Sheriff Ed Smith.
Griffith is wanted in Pennsylvania for the alleged rape, stalking, burglary, indecent exposure and other charges, Smith said. The crimes were allegedly committed against a 19-year-old woman. They say Griffith is also wanted for several alleged burglaries in Georgia and was driving a stolen car from that state.
Authorities from Pennsylvania are making their way to Nevada to extradite Griffith back to his home state, Smith said.
Griffith appeared on "America's Most Wanted" recently and authorities say he was aware that he was wanted by the law.
